I am a professor and director of Institute of Advanced Computing and Digital Engineering in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am a Youth Science and Technology Innovation Leader elected by Ministry of Science and Technology China, and a Pengcheng Distinguished Professor elected by Shenzhen Municipal Government. I received the “Lu Jiaxi Young Researcher Award” from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012. I had been a project assistant professor in Graduate School of Information Science and Technology , The University of Tokyo, Japan.

Research Interests: Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, and Intelligent Robotics
